OVERVIEW
Sippin' on La Croix is a playful, high-gloss anthem turned cultural asset. Written, performed, and creative directed by Rak Salt, the project became a living case study in how to brand a song like a movement.
With no label backing, Rak crafted a complete ecosystem around the track — from visuals to styling to social rollout — proving that a great song paired with clear vision can become a microbrand.
MY ROLE
This wasn’t just a song drop. It was a self-funded, self-produced rollout with Rak in full control:
- Songwriting + Recording — Wrote and performed the track solo
- Creative Direction — Defined the visual language of the single
- Cover Art + Reels — Designed digital assets and content pieces for promotion
- Styling + Aesthetic Direction — Built the visual identity from wardrobe to color grading
- Content Creation — Shot and edited BTS, visual teasers, and campaign reels
- Social Strategy — Planned and executed Instagram + TikTok content around the release
